Requirement
As a meal planner, how much time it takes to make weekly menus. All knows what it’s like to have a family who likes familiar foods but is also willing to try new things, which means that our menus change weekly. Client wanted to create this site to help make meal planning more enjoyable and less burdensome. He desired that this site helps make meal planning a fun and easy task for you as well

Our goal at MyMealChart.com is to make meal planning as painless as possible by providing easy to use meal charts that you can fill with all kinds of recipes, by providing a way to share completed meal charts with family and friends, and by providing easy to edit shopping lists to complete your meal planning needs.
Our Solution
As we find this project quite interesting for the development too. But keeping in mind that this project can have future expendability, we build its database architecture in structured format with maximum possibilities to cover in the future. Also made it user friendly, because maximum of its users will be come from open public environment, those were not much aware with the online technologies.
How it works
Once you sign up for a member account you will have a chance to personalize your own meal charts. A few templates will be provided or you can create your own. You will be able to choose how many days a week as well as how many meals each day you would like to have on your meal chart. You may choose which days of the week you want your plan to begin and even colour-code your chart.
After your meal chart has been personalized, you will be able to fill it using recipes from our database or with your own personal recipes. While completing your meal chart, a grocery list will automatically be generated and you will be able to edit this list before printing. After completing a meal chart, you will be able to save it for future use or share with it with family and friends who also use MyMealChart.com. Members will be able to print recipes, meal charts and shopping lists in easy to read formats.
